Great day at Our Bodies, Our Babies, Our Rights rally

Just a quick post from me as i have to take the washing off of the line lol. I just attended the National day of action - Our Bodies, Our Babies, Our Rights rally. It was fantastic to see so many women there voicing their opinions on Kevin Rudd's new maternity 'reform'.Basically i think its a load of shit that they are gonna take our rights away as mothers. We should be able to choose where and how we have our babies.

Anyway it was a great day and i really hope that Krudd changes the policy. I'm not huge on politics and don't really understand most of it but i know that what is happening isn't right or fair.

Might change the heading.........hmmmm

Well Ive been having a little chat to myself (hope im not the only crazy mum that does that hehe) and am going to TRY and become a more centred and positive person :). Lately i have been such a tired cranky bum and yes i do have a nearly 1 yr who doesnt like to sleep through the night (most nights) but i do feel that waking up in the morning and being cranky and narky and taking it out on my 7 yr old is NOT ON.

I have also decided that I am gonna be more involved with my gorgeous boys i.e playing outside more (when weather is good), making things and generally having fun instead of sitting at the computer checking facebook for the millioneth time (never gets anymore interesting).

Right, so i have also decided that the heading of my blog is kinda stuck up and so not me lol. I was trying to be more worldy and grown up lol but im not. Im a silly mum who acts like the kids most of the times and that heading just doesnt suit me anymore so im gonna try and change it.

Im gonna go and start my positive outlook now hehe and get on the treadmill, then play with my little man :) maybe i should make some gloop and sit in the empty bath with it, make a right mess :) ( with my little man of course).

Long days

Ah :) I'm back lol. I seriously wish i could remember to write more in this freaking blog lol.

Its been a very hectic month here. Have now got Lochie full time which is what i have always wanted but i would never have wanted it to happen the way it did. He came home a month ago (approx) with huge bruising all over his bottom, it was literally black and blue :( . His father had done this to him after Lochie kept making excuses about why he shouldn't go to bed ( normal 7 year old behaviour, as annoying as it is). I wont go into anymore detail except to say that i have taken in all quite far and his dad has to go to court in march and i now have full custody.

Coop has been doing great with everything at the moment :) . He is walking, although his feet sometimes get ahead of his little body and he crashes out hehe. He is such a tough cookie and when he falls over he usually just says 'oh ow' and gets back up lol.

I'm so in love with my little family and want the rest of our longs days to be as happy as today has been.

Anyway I really wish i could say i will blog more often but i know it wont happen lol. Talk again soon :) xx

hmmmmmmmm

So haven't written a new post for ages cause i kinda forgot about it lol. But have remembered and am now gonna post something, but not sure what lol.

I have had killer headaches/migraines for the past two days :(. Think it might be my two wisdom teeth that haven't been taken out (obviously lol). Have an appointment on Friday to get them looked at and more then likely told i need them taken out, oh yay.

Still miss my cousin ALOT and really hope i will be able to save enough money to go and see him soonish :).

I am seriously looking into becoming a Midwife :) just have to find out a bit more info and obviously wait until they do their next intake then i reckon i will try and get in :).

Well, that's all I can think of to write at the moment he he, could say i will make more of an effort to get on here and update but i probably wont so why say it lol.
